95 v6 to v8 swap
I have a 95 fuel injected 3.4l v6 5 speed camaro and I wana know how much work it is to drop a carbureted v8 in it ? What do I need as far as mounts do I need to change my tranny and drive shaft ect.
Listen to BC.
The cost of such project is more than the car is worth and in a lot of cases, devalues the car. It requires the car to have a lot of down time because a lot of things need to torn out, rerouted, or rewired.
Here's a link to someone who's still in the process of doing the swap:

Socom did the V6-V8 swap too, but kept his FI.
I'd like to hear back from both these guys once they are all done, to see if they would do it again, knowing what they know now.
