Default Long tubes

Finally putting long tubes on my car, do I/Should I/Will I need to remove/simulate the rear 02's?

Should I get the PCM redone to kill off the rear 02's?

Rear 02's only verify the cats correct?

What kind of "custom" fitment can I expect with the y-pipe and the rest of the exhaust,, Pacesetter long tubes and Y

Thanks in advance!

If you're talking about reusing the y pipe from the mid pipes you had, well, you can't. If you do have their y pipe, you need to cut off some of your existing catback. The y-pipe joins to one behind the tranny. For example, some companies sell an "S" pipe so it can fit a catback to ones stock (or anything but LT's)exhaust, you won't need that "S" pipe.Once you install the y pipe, you'll know where to cut the catback. Can't tell you much about the rear O2's, my car wasn't designed with them. What kind of cats are you gonna use, seeing as your installing longtubes.

any good vendor SHOULD sell a ypipe that goes with the headers purchased. it will then all bolt together with no cutting needed

and rear O2s will only throw a code and potentially cause you to fail emissions testing if you have it in ur area. you can buy simulators, get a new pcm, or just put some electrical tape over the light if it bothers you. it wont affect your cars performance.

Thanks for the answers, I got the Y-pipe that is supposed to go with the headers, so I guess we will see how it all fits!

Not going to use cats,,No emissions in my area

Thanks Specter for the 02 answer,

Thanks deltav for the location answer (after tranny mount) that was one I was really wondering about

Thanks!
