Cool FFF 3.8L Long Tubes ;)

Well I bit the bullet, and my Forced Fed Fabrications http://www.force-fed-fabrications.co...ts/LT/info.htm 3.8L long tube headers are en route! To anyone wondering, these were the last brand-new set produced. However, anyone still interested should ping Patrick or Tiago as I know Patrick is toying with the idea of getting back into V6 fbody parts! Thanks to the FFF guys for their contributions making V6 Camaros SO much better, when no other large vendor stepped-up!

Idk $350, I think they were in the $400 rang last time I saw a new set for sale.

The original new price was almost $900, but had no sales, finally sold 2 or 3 sets, then they kinda went silent for a while. I believe they then sold them off to someone else who finally started dropping the price on the remaining sets to get rid of them.

Nice. You'll have to let us know how the fitment is on these and what kind of power gains you get with them! I've been looking for a long tube for the 3.8l for a while, didn't know these had ever been available. Had pretty much resigned myself to using the pacesetter mids. Are they ceramic coated as well?
How are those R8 style headlights working out for you, btw? I've thought about putting a set of those in my Camaro as well. You did get an HID conversion kit with them, didn't you? Had any issues with them?

I know WarShrike had to redo his collectors, was hitting the frame.

Good to know 96-I sent an e-mail a little earlier to Tiago, might not matter much if I can't get the parts themselves.

Well they are arriving in just two more days. That's when the price paid contest ends too, prize is a Borla baseball cap -- free, you just pay actual shipping cost. Crossing my fingers on the fitment, these will require O2 extensions, custom y-pipe, EGR delete, and a little pipe to adapt to a high-flow cat and then my Borla Adjustable catback. As for gains, take a look here:
BOV

Looking into HP Tuners to bump the fans on a bit earlier, and some EGR tweaking.

If you go w/mids, the OBX ones are stainless steel -- better longevity… http://www.obxracingsports.com/products.php?pk=1698

FFF's are not coated, but you can get ANY headers coated, for extra $...

The projectors are cool, but the overall quality is bad on the rubber gasket around the edge (it comes loose), the height adjusters (don't work reliably and seem to slip), and some of the LEDs never worked and they had to replace the unit. Plus they swore up and down to me that they had working halo rings -- they do NOT! I already had the DDM Tuning HID kit (separate cost), just had to get the H1 HID bulbs to work in these. I do like the look, though.
