Question Intake Baffle??

Hey, I was reading on this site about a baffle inside my intake to reduce noise. now i may soud kinda dumb askin this but thats what this site is for right? Is the baffle in the throttle body itself? i couldnt see anything in the routing to the air filter. and 2, if it is in the throttle body could i take it out and it would sound better or would that jeapordize the performanc of the car itself?

It's not a baffle, they're referring to the resonator (commonly referred to as the "Donkey Dong"). It's a hollow tube that has a calculated length and diameter to produce a certain tone. This tone then produces destructive interference with common intake noises, thus making the noise seem less apparent. You're not going to get any performance by removing it, so I wouldn't worry about it.

"would removing the resonator make it sound any better? where is it exactly?"

Better is a matter of opinion, so to you, I don't know. It's going to increase the sound that an intake makes, if you like that sound you can get a new intake elbow, but you can't remove the resonator unless you plug the whole. Personally I wouldn't want a home-made plug job that may go bad sitting at the entrance to my motor. The resonator is located on the bottom of the intake elbow that curves from your air filter/box into the throttle body.
