I was looking into trading in my z28 and picking up a black 02 corvette Zo6 since im young now and it would be best to get a corvette b4 i get married and have kids and such so i get insurance qoutes expecting to not be able to afford it being a corvette for an 18 year old and come to find at every place i got a qoute it would be cheaper for me to drive an 02 zo6 then my 00 z28 an perticular reason for this? thanks to anyone who can help

 

Because the combination of teen agers and Camaros has the worst accident record of just about any car & driver combination.

 

Plus the z06 proballyhas a higher saftey rate.

 

The Z06 is usually driven by older people that have the money to buy it, and they drive much more carefully than a young Camaro driver.
