Brakes...
Im about to buy a set of 4, black chrome Z06 Rims off a 05' Vette from my friend. Now, the problem is, how do I change out my rear drum brakes to disc? What do I need, and how hard is it to do? I really don't want ugly, rusted out drum brakes behind beautiful black z06 Rims....
oh yea, and my front discs are rusted too, and the pads are worn down. So i need to get something that wont rust, and somehow, id like to repaint my cailpers too. Im doing alot of trim in red (i.e camaro emblems, cable covers, etc), so Id like to do my calipers red with the camaro logo on them. What kind of paint do I need, or do I need to replace them too? And how hard is it to convert the rears to discs?

How badly are the front discs rusted? They're only iron, any water on them at all and they'll miscolor, mine do it every time I wash it, then you go and drive it and they go back to normal. I'd say if they aren't gettting rough just get new pads and drive it, other than that just get some new rotors, but they all get spots of oxidation on them. As far as painting the calipers I just used Rustolium semi-gloss red paint. Allow at least a couple hours for them to dry.

I'll take some better pics, the only ones i have are from night time, so you really can't see too much, although you can see the red calipers. I'll grab some pics later, but it's night time and raining right now...and I think we can get by without a pic of the can of paint, Rustolium Semi-Gloss Red...
