Insurance question?
Hello
I am 17 and currently driving a 2001 honda accord ex coupe (please don’t bomb on my car, I know its weak) and im thinking about getting a z28, seeing as my accord will be gone soon. I have not been in a single accident, or got any tickets. About how much would insurance be a month for me on a4th gen. camaro z28, or even a regular base line one?

A lot depends where you live, your driving record, years of experience, and even your credit rating. You can go on line and check with a company like GEICO and get a free estimate. Tell the truth or you will get a low ball quote which won't be honored if you do get a policy. You can also check with your current insurance company & they will give you an estimate.
Well when i was 17 and got my first camaro, i was paying like 2500 a year through i think it was progressive, and that was with a clear license, now im 23 and im still driving a camaro i only pay 80 a month lol, gotta love being old sometimes anyway
If you can, try to get itthrough your parent's policy, that's how I've got my rate to be so low. For my 01 WS6 it costs me about 90 bucks a month. That's with 6 or 7 moving violations and two wrecks and God knows how many seat belt tickets. The best way I found is to have a cheap vehicle to rate yourself on under your parents insurance and just make sure that when they add the Camaro to the insurance you're covered on that as well. I'm currently rated under a 1994 Chevy cargo van that we don't even own anymore.
When I was 18 I looked into purchasing a 4th generation V8. The quote from the company I was with was $2800 every 6 months, or $466 a month, seems kinda crazy but that's what they told me. I had no tickets and one minor fender bender. Now that I'm 23 my online quote is between $150 and $200 a month, and thats with no tickets and the accident is no longer considered.
