I think I collapsed a lifter.

I'm gonna think the lifter broke apart in pieces, not anything small enough to be able to get sucked up by, and through the oil pump screen. Any chunks not in the lifter valley, if there are more, would end up in the bottom of the oil pan. Do a forensic reassembly of the lifter to find out if any parts are m.i.a.

There were some smaller chunks in the lifter valley. I figure some of it made it down to the oil pan. Gonna find out for sure on Tuesday when the engine comes out. I’ll update then.
