LT-1 Solid lifter camshaft

Default LT-1 Solid lifter camshaft

Specs are 242/254 @ .455/.485 lift 116 lobe sep.



Has ne1 ever tried a camshaft like this?

Are those duration numbers at .50 because the lift looks small for a cam of that size. Regardless, my opinion is that it is too small of a cam to bother with going solid. Solid lifter cams generally make their power at very high RPM's, that cam with those numbers is not going to be a high enough reving cam to take advantage of the solid lifter. Not to mention the added maintence of running the lash every 3-4000 miles.
