Default How to take off front side markers/turn signal piece.

I changed the front turn signal and noticed I have broken glass inside the light, and I was wondering how to remove it so I can clean it?

I searched Google and couldn't find much info except for 2010 models, but from what I did read it has me confused. I know you can't pop it off from the outside, but is there a screw holding it in from underneath the bumper?

Thanks.

Hmm. Not sure about the 1999 model Camaro but on mine, you have to remove the lower bumper cowl, then remove the whole light assemble from inside the bumper. It comes right out after you remove the screw/screws. Then you should be able to turn the housing upside down and shake it til all the broken bulb glass falls out

Mine is a '97, but I'll check out what you said. I tried looking for screws that held the assembly in place but I must be blind cause I didn't see any. I'll try again.

I thought 1999 because of your user name haha. If it's a 97, then it's the same as mine. There should be two screws inside the bumper holding the assembly in place. If I remember right, they're either 7mm or 10mm.

I appreciate the help. I can't believe I over looked those 2 screws the first time. Fairly easy to remove, but a pain in the a$$ to get your arm up through the "door" slot.

Took them out, removed the broken glass and junk from previous owner, scrubbed the outer lens with toothpaste and now they look brand new.

Thanks again for helping. I don't know what I would do without this place. Ha ha!
