Default How do I link my keyless entry remote to my car?

I have a 1994 camaro z28 and my keys work, but the buttons are not doing anything. I've never linked them before or they have never worked but I want to get them working. How do I pair it to my camaro.

Download the owner manual here: 1993-2002 F-body Owner's Manuals

The procedure for the 94 Camaro starts on page 50.

Thanks. If anyone else is wondering, you take a paper clip and make it a U then go under your steering wheel where you plug in into your computer and on the top row you hit the very right one and on the bottom row you hit the very left one at the same time. Your locks should lock and unlock. Then you press any key on your remote.

I tried switching out batteries. I'm going to switch it again. Just to be sure before I get a new remote. The remote is like $8 any ways
