hood help

Default hood help

i know this isnt a camaro question but could anyone help. does anyone know if i could put a ram air hood like the on the red car on a stock 99 firebird 3.8l stick shift like on the black one?

i think thats an ws6 or aftermarket hood and you should be able to find one that will fit.

i wasnt sure cuz when looking at picture of ones that come factory like that i seen that parts under the hood that say ram air so i didnt know if the air intake ( i think it is) was different like the one is the pic below

yes the intake is diff.. but you can still put the hood on the car... it just means u wont have ram air unless u upgrade the intake aswell

WS6 equipped trans ams received the raised intake box. If you can find them used for cheap, it could be worth picking up, but other than that there is no real gain in power.
