Thanks guys. I am going to just switch out the ignition and put a new one in. Cheaper than the dealer. Took my title to the dealer and they want 175 buck just to cut a key and get the VATS code.

cheaper and easier to do the 15 resistor thing. replacing ignition is still going to leave you without the right vats resistance for the computer.

^ Correct. It's the VATS module in the car that's looking for the matching resistor value, not the ignition tumbler. Replace the tumbler and you'll still be where you're at now.

Dam that sucks. I guess i will ordered one. My local Walmart doesn't carry them in store.
