Default Fuel pump

Thanks for the ideas guys.... I can also say that is NOT the starter. The engine turns over just fine at each and every turn of the key, but its like doesn`t have fuel (????).... or crankshaft positioning sensor is gone (?????) ..... or whatever else. The computer didn`t show anything being at fault.
A faulty fuel pump, would "leave a code" in the computer ?

should have a code for the crank sensor if its not working right. no code for bad fuel pump. test the fuel pressure, could be fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump.

Default fuel pump

well, nothing is showing up on the computer. That`s why my mecanic is unsure - when its working, he can`t find the problem. I left him the car for a whole day, and every time he tried it, the car started up OK. He checked the fuel pressure, fuel line and everything else fuel related - and nothing. That`s how the "blame" fell on the fuel pump since that was the last component on the list that can cause this issue. But again, the faulty fuel pump is just "the next logical" step.... however, he`s not 100% sure that by replacing the pump, it will solve the problem. He said, the only other way to find out for sure what the problem is, when the car will break down.
Bravo! Good answer - it makes me feel warm all over .......

Default Question ..... with question marks ????

I have also heard/read about some guys cutting a little "door" in the "hump" behind the rear seat. Aparantly it is centered and the cut is 12"X8" size.
Anyone has done that in here? Pics? Info?

Thanks

A word of warning the $200 fuel pumps from all the big named parts stores are junk. Airtex or something like that. I am on my second one this year and it is starting to make noise.
