Default Help with Window problem

Car is a 1994 Z28.

The driver side window will no longer stay in the track. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures while I had it apart.

This is the track that I removed from the door. It was bolted in vertically. Can anyone tell me if this is the correct piece for my car? Everything that I am finding looks different. If this is out of another year car, any idea what year? The piece I need to fix this is the black plastic wheel that keeps the window in the track. The old one was several pieces.

the wheel is part of the regulator, not sure it can be purchased separately. But should be available at a salvage yard.

Thanks belairbrian and Craby for the replies. I didn't get a good look at the wheel, but the pics did confirm that the track is the correct one. Was a little afraid that i might be chasing a ghost if this came out of some other kind of car.

Now to see if I can find that wheel. Thanks again guys!

Thats the same place I found mine at, but mine was in several pieces. Thats the fate of most plastic pieces like that here in AZ unfortunately. Thanks for looking though, I'll try the salvage yard and see if I can find one that isn't all messed up from the heat here. Summer is coming and my AC doesn't work. It's already starting to get nasty driving during the day with only one window down.

just a thought. I needed similar parts for the windows on my 93 Miata. A very common problem on those cars.

Ended up countersinking a nylon washer from Lowes and attaching it with a screw and nut. Cost me about $3.

I didn't find anything here that helps in this situation, but thought this was a good site to share.
