my aunt is pretty accurate with how much he spent on it she hated the car it cost her too much money lol I should be home shortly I'll get some pictures up

i didnt get any of the underside when i washed it but ill try to get them tommrow if the sun is stull up when i get home from work

thats not a stock rearend, not a 9 in so must be a dana or a 10 in, not surprising.

my aunt has a file cabinet full of stuff on the car im going to pick it up in the next few days it should help identify more about the car.

Rear axle shown is a GM 12-bolt with a bearing girdle.
The girdle keeps tension on the bearing caps preventing the ring gear from being pushed away from the pinion/hogshead during application of power.

It is good to read you would like to educate yourself on the workings.

if he switched from auto to manual they may have run into computer problems,
