I'm working on my room mates 99 camaro that he got for 600 bucks so it has some issues the previous owner said that when they bought it at auction it had an aftermarket alarm installed and they didn't have the remote, and they disconnected the horn, but the alarm still activates the blinkers.

We've found some wires in the dash that we think are aftermarket
can you guys tell me if this box belongs behind the ac control panel?

your help would be much appreciated.
