Default Help with convertible top and back window

I have a 94 camaro with a convertible top. The top itself isnt in such bad shape besides the window. Seems it fell out and the PO tried jb welding it back in. I wont even comment on that.

Any who I have a replacement window section. I am not sure how to go about removing the old window section and installing this one. i talked to an upholsterer briefly and it seems the plastic piece on one edge of the fabric mounts on the top part of the back and the bottom is stapled to a bottom part of the convertible top/frame

Any info on instructions/advice/pics would be great!

I have not done a 4th gen but if it is a 2 piece design you normally can not just replace the window section. Installing the window is the first step in installing the top. I had a 94 olds with the same issue, My daughter pop the window seal with a ice scraper. I had to install a new top. No other way to get it fixed. I did glue it together will silicone for rest of winter. You really want to install the top on a hot sunny day.
