OK, I got the black ball shifter off, but man what a freaking huge shifter stud, it's a 5/8" 18 thread,,, I cant find ANy new shifters with that size opening to either screw on or use with adapters. Any ideas? I've tried all the usual parts links summit,jegs etc.[:@]

 

I love when other people have questions that I want to ask and I don't have to search for the answers. I agree about the shifter ****. I wanted to change mine, but since I can't even get it off, I was just going to put an 8 on it and make it look like an 8-ball, lol. Until I can save enough for a short throw shifter.

 

LOL. Well we love it when new guys search and dont ask the same questions over and over again.. Props to both you guys i think you will fit right in here.
