Default heat problem

my heat takes a long time to warm up and when it does warm up its warm at best.

i had the coolant flushed in the summer because it was disgusting, thick, and gunky, my friend said it might be one of the wires that goes by the firewall might be clogged so no warm coolant is going through them?

im not car smart so if that makes no sense sorry. please help ;p

The heater core tends to get plugged up. Someone just posted about something like this, and that is what it ended up being. It can be unplugged without having to replace it. I will find the post if interested. It's either on this page or page 2
