Default Headlights will not come on 96 Z28

The headlights will not come on but the tail lights work. Looking at the fuseblock under the hood the are 2 empty slots for fuses but nothing in them.
Is there a relay or fuselink located somewhere else on the car.

Thanks
Tim

neither high or low beam will work? have u tried a new bulb? there is a headlight relay in the running lights module, its behind the radio and heater controls. i think its off to the right.

both lights not working at the same time brings the dimmer switch (on steering column under the dash) or the headlamp switch itself. Unplug the dimmer and check to see if there is 12V to ground and the top wire (the one by itself) If there is 12V there then jump to the green or tan wire and check for lights. If you get lights replace dimmer. If you don't get 12V at the top (blue) wire replace the headlamp switch. If all is good then check the bulbs. Yes all 4 bulbs can die about the same time. If you dont get 12V at the plugs then you need to hunt the relay that Craby is talking about.

P.S. you may want to check out the voltage at the bulb first and if you get nothing then move to the method I describe above.

Yeah, but the headlights were on when we were trying to start it. I'll start digging deeper in a few days. Between work and snow I can't work on it right now.
ETA: sorry. I'm new to this forum and I'm kinda confused by how it shows me a "related" thread at the bottom of my thread. I was reading replies to the thread I had started and at the end it shows this thread and I thought that 9 year old reply was aimed at me.

Please check dates on threads, This is almost 9 years old. If he has not gotten his head lights fixed by now he must have a night vision head set.
