Default Have you seen my foglight?

So last night I was driving along. I noticed that my lights were actually lighting things up... I could see objects and even the road in front of me. I turned a bend and noticed that the lower sections of some trees were relatively well lit, something I had never noticed before.

After a little more driving and a couple more bends, I noticed that the light appeared to be rectangular shaped and only on one side only, but both head lights were working. I flipped my high beams on and the weird light disappeared. Flipped the fogs back on and it reappeared. I didn't mind because I could actually see the road and things in front of me. For whatever reason when I got to my destination I didn't think to check it out. Nor did I when I got home, but I noticed it on the way home too.

Today, I was washing the car and just finished the lower section of the front when my hand got stuck on the fog light. "Hmm that's weird" I thought to myself. "The other fog light didn't feel like this". So I looked to see what I had been caught up on. The entire glass casing/lens piece was missing. Just gone. No sign of it on the street, driveway or front yard. Just gone.

I have no clue where it went, why it went or when it went. I just know that it disappeared between the last time I went out after dark and last night.

Just the lens? haha My car was missing a fog lamp lens when I bought it. I yanked one off a car at a junk yard and they gave it to me for free. All it takes is a flat head screw driver and some prying.

You might have gotten jacked for your lens.

True that. I know someone who jacked some lenses off a Camaro a while back. I have a few buddies who own Camaro's. You gotta do what you gotta do lol

Maybe our lights shouldn't be so easy to hijack lol. I blame Chevrolet! Cheap Bastards!

I took my Suburban through one of those high end car washes and when it came out the other end, both fog light lens had been ripped out. The lights and bulbs were there but the lens was gone. Chevy wanted $100 a piece for replacements. What a rip!

I have a spare one sitting around (I have a lot of crap laying around). You can have it for shipping cost. I had a broken lens on one and replaced both with aftermarket lights. Pretty sure it's the passenger side I have, but it doesn't matter much. Both housings are identical, the difference is how the angled glass is installed. You could pop the glass out of mine and silicone it to yours if need be.

I was going to offer him one also, can't remember what side it is, but you can interchange them just by flipping them. I'm really thinking about putting some aftermarket ones on my Z, the stock ones appear yellow and don't match the headlights at all. Plus they're really not all that great.
