Okay I've been looking for instructions on how to remove the black grill insert. I live in Iowa which is sadly a two plate state, but if I don't have a front license plate mount ( which is riveted to my grill insert ) then I can place the license plate in my windshield. I tried prying it off from the front but apparently there's little clips holding it on from underneath and I ended up losing one of them. Is there an easy way to remove the insert without removing the bumper?

 

there is no easy way to remove them, i believe there r 6 clips, 3 on top 3 on bottom, when i put on my new grille i had to cut them all, i believe thats the only way
