got the service engine light checked
when i drive down the road the engine light isnt on.. so im not for sure what it could be.. i know my spark plugs are bad though so that i will get done anyways but i think its the EGR valve.. and when i turn the key to the on position it says Service Engine Soon, Brake, and Check Gauges

the car will run fine when i start it cold, i can floor it and it's like nothing's wrong. but when it goes up to operating temperature, it starts sputtering.

The MAF could cause this problem. If the ECM doesn't know how much air is comming into the engine it doesn't know how much fuel is needed. There for the more you open the throttle the more air is coming in and the computer doesn't know to add fuel do the car is running lean and starving for fuel.
TheGrimReaper73 is your check engine light working? Does it come on when you turn the key to "ON"

I would say replace your crank sensor and go from there, I've heard of it tripping false codes before. If that doesn't take care of the issue go for the MAF. If that doesn't take care of the issue you have a bigger problem on your hands.
TheGrimReaper: your problem sounds like it could be a leaking EGR valve. Take off your EGR and see if you can clean it (I use carb cleaner), it's possible you have some carbon buildup inside and it's leaking.
