I'm probably going to look into headers and all that soon too. I'm not familiar with dynatech but I keep hearing about it.Do theymake a high flow catted y? I don't think i want to take the chance of not passing inspection with an ory. I'd probably keep my magnaflow exhaust but replace the 3.5 inch tips with dual 2.5 inch tips.

Yes, Dynatech does offer high flow cat Y-pipes, although I do not think that Summit carries them, so you may have to do some searching to find one, or possibly contact Dynatech directly.

I have Edlebrock headers with a 3" single and a highflow cat that Y's at the back and dumps on either side of the rear with 2 and a halfs. The Y and dumps are pretty much just for looks but it's loud as all get out.

The other really nice thing about Kooks is that they are stainless steel, it is also another reason they cost more.
