Default good deal for a ported intake?

http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218...347&cat=&lpid=

Anyone think this is a bad deal? the guy isn't sure on the cfm rating of the intake, but I am more interested in the service port fuel line because mine broke off. I was thinking i would just tig it back but then i found this add and thought for the fuel set up and manifold i didn't think it was to bad, especially after gm told me it was 425 bucks just for the line with the service port.

Any input would be great. thanks.

lloyd will do it for 200 bucks. ask who did the port work and what was done. it will be worth it if its a good pro job. would not touch it if it was a home job.

I would probably just tig yours back on. You're not going to get any performance increase on a 350, you really need to be running a 383 to start to outflow the LT1 intake (or some really high RPM...but you get what I'm saying). I personally wouldn't pick up the new intake if you have the ability to fix the one you've got.

A ported intake with unported heads will not help performance. The difference in runner size can disrupt flow and actually cause a loss of power. You can usually get away going from small to large, but large to small is a no-no.

yeah i knew the ported intake would be worthless without any supporting mods. I was doubtful it would give me much of anything even with heads and a cam. I was just mare curious if anyone thought that was a bad deal. thanks for the input though. I like how quick everyone replies here and how much information everyone has. its my favorite forum site by far.
