Default God Help the Ricers....

Okay so the other night a guy was talking to me about his car. He has a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 that he threw a supercharger into... Okay well thats all fine and dandy...then he tried to tell me that with the supercharger running, it outputs 750hp to the front wheels...(I'm not exaggerating this is literally what he told me...) So a car that normally has around 200hp stock now outputs 750hp? Umm...don't think so...

Wow! I never knew that a Huyndai tranny could handle that much power. Maybe I need to get one of those and yank that anemic LT1 out of my Z28.

Quick search search of the net shows it is a common upgrade. With all the normal boltons about 270WHP (315 at the engine?) can be done with 8 PSI of boost. Stock clutch will not hold up to it. Thats with header, exhaust and intake to support it.

Maybe he gutted the cat and didn't tell you or he got a lot of the go fast decals.

Ya, he is an moron.

I think that they are forgetting the decimal point.

The Honda is really 90.0 HP.
The Hyundai is 75.0 HP.

There, that is a lot more believable.
