RE: got 7k to spend help me out
for your stall look here
http://www.converter.cc/converters/street/GM/1/main.htm
personally I would say no bigger then 3600
good pump and chain combo here
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku
cam wise a good place to check out would be
http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...5&catid=49 that will let you get everything you should change with the cam at once here is a list of all the cams to choose from from them http://texas-speed.com/shop/category...=&catid=44I would call and talk to them since they will give much better advice on a choise then I can
Kooks headers are some of the best you can get but I would reccomend having them installed before you do any lowering though to make sure you have the clearence with them. Also shock whise while I know they are not cheap you might want to look into http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/S...amp;brand=KONI
the only other reccomendations I have right now if this has not been done yet a sub frame conectors and a relocation kit to go with that torque arm

RE: got 7k to spend help me out
TB bypass will get you about 1 hp and will decrease drivability in any cold weather, the 160 thermo won't get you anything w/out a tune, and even then it won't get you much, the underdrive pulley will only decrease drivability, you really don't get much on a 4th gen from them especially if you get the electric water pump, then you get absolutely nothing. As far as headers, I'd more than recomend Kooks, they're awesome, check with www.speed-eng.com for them, sometimes they have them on sale.

seriously though, back to the guy's question, I would call Thunder Racing up and tell them what you plan on doin with the car and they will help you pick the right cam. I just installed their TR224 and i couldn't be happier with the, under the curve power, throttle response, and streetability. As far as headers you said you like Kooks so if you have the money get them, they're one of the best. Don't waste your money on the bellows, you won't pick up anything. As far as the push rods, Thunder has a kit with the cam, rods, comp 918 springs, and all the gaskets and seal for about $700. If you're doing the install yourself then i would suggest get an ASP underdrive pulley at the same time. Hope this all helps
