Default General "Ford-ers"

Guys! i have an idea. But heads up die hard GM fans!! As ya'll know i got the 96 Y87 with no beating heart of an engine.. however, i do have a ford E150 with 60,000 original miles chilling on my driveway, that gets driven 3 times a year. So instead of my pop scrapping it he said i might be able to have it.

Guess what im thinking about doing!

I would drink to that one!

Crazy idea? Yep. Worth the cost to accomplish? Probably not. Should you do it? Flip a coin.

yikes that 4x4 camaro is a little much...
but yeah, the idea is transplanting the 302 into the camaro, go figure.
but, i talked to one of my roomates and my friend, and they both said that a small block chevy is a better engine than a 302. Cheaper, easier to find, and with the right parts really powerful.
i like the 400's and 383's seeing as they are a littttttle less popular than a basic 350. i posted an ad on craigslist and i got responses of people selling a plethora of SBC's. one dude wanted $100 for a long block setup. dosent get much better than that!!!

The Ford 302's not a "bad" engine...hell it's a great engine. And it'll make all the power you want. The only part that may make this swap "hard" is the cost. If you can see past the slightly higher $$$ (compaired to a SBC swap) then you can have a very nice, and more over, very unique car.
