thinking about going with 4.56 gears. any concearns. pretty much a stock z28. not worried about gas consumption. please let me know what ya'll think.

 

4:56s r pretty high for street gears id go 4:10s at the most if its stick and 3:73 for an auto but y dont u do other mods lik exhaust first?

 

Those are seriousley gigantic, expect your car to be screaming at like 70 mph lol. The highest most people use/reccomend, is 4.11 for manual (The manuals have more gears so a lower ratio doesn't mean as much.) and 3.73, or maybe even 3.91 for an auto. Expect to decellerate like crazy when you take your foot off the gas while city driving to.

 

Good drag strip gears, if you have a close ratio transmission witha 2.20 first(which neither the 6M or 4A are),but not too good on the road, except maybe with a 6M.
