Well i just filled my 95 3.4 camaro up with premium gas for a treat for my car well a mile down the road all i hear is a lowd whine from my fuel pump and car shows off my oil pressure went down but any ideas

 

The fuel pump may be on the way out, but I see no reason for the oil pressure to drop.

 

^ When he said his car "shows off" I figured he must have meant it "shuts off", which of course would make the oil pressure go down just a tad.

 

does sound like the pump is failing, test the fuel pressure, if its around 35 to 40 then its about right. change fuel filter. dump it out, from the tank side of the filter, in a clear container so you can see whats in it.
