My '94 Camaro 6-cyl. is making a buzzing noise coming from the back of the car. I've been told it's the fuel pump...can anyone verify that? If so, are fuel pumps for other GM cars (such as the Caprice) interchangeable with it?

 

Yes! The GM in tank fuel pumps tend to be very loud. This has been an issue on many cars but if the pump is still putting out the proper psi then I wouldn't worry about it. My suburban and both my camaros did the same thing. My current Camaro does it also but you can't hear it over the exhaust tone!
