Default Fuel pressure question

I'm currently having a low fuel pressure problem with my car. Its a 96 3.8. When priming it, it only goes up to 24 psi. It will start and run. While ideling it only goes up to 30-32psi. Throttling up doesn't increase the pressure. What is the fuel pressure for a 96 supposed to be? I've searched and the numbers I've found aren't very consistent. I'm thinking its the pump. Its still the original unit

i believe the 96 3.8 is 50 to 60. have you pulled the vacuum off to see if the pressure changes? could be a failing fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, fuel pump or all three failing.

Yeah I pulled the vacuum hose off the pressure regulator and it didn't change the pressure. I can't remember what that means for the regulator. I thought the regulator would only cause around a 10psi difference when failing. Right now I'm running at half the normal pressure. I replaced the fuel filter and that didn't help either.
