Default Flowmaster mufflers?

Ive decided that my hooker muffler is too quiet, so I think im going to go with a flowmaster 80 series muffler. But i head that they really dont flow good, is that true? Otherwise what muffler should i go with?

magnaflows arent very loud either. did ur midlengths come with a custom midpipe, or do they use ur factory ypipe? if they use the factory ypipe then upgrade that next. go off road if u can. this will add more sound than a muffler change.

I had two flowmaster mufflers. The first one was changed becausea muffler guy said that same thing, they fail and that's why my car was sounding the way it was. Well, I had two holes about the size of a nickel on my stock catback and I think that's what was making my car sound bad, not the muffler itself. I have since changed the whole thing and got a TSP catback, a lot more flow and volume.

This is funny because I don't want my car this loud and was going to go with a hooker aero muffler!

My 80 series does the job man. Not saying it's the best but for the money I'm cool with it.

the flowmaster 40 series will give you the mean muscle sound you want, the super 44 flowmaster is extreemly loud with no cats... I have different ones on mine, and it sounds mean, I have flowmaster flo pro ultra flo on mine, and I love it... its all personal preferance...
