Heat and freeze the plug if you can. Take a 1/2 in extension and grind it down till it just fits, the tighter the fit the better. If all else fails, you can re-fill the trans from the top through the shifter.

It's a little more work, but, Remove shift ****, it just unscrews.

Remove center console (2 bolts in the storage, one just ahead of the cup holder under the shifter boot, and 2 at the front on either side of the trans tunnel, then pull e-brake as high as you can), make sure you get them all before yanking it out, it'll take some wiggling.

Remove lower shift boot, should be 7 screws if I remember right.

The shifter cover will be held on by four 1/2 inch head bolts. A ratcheting wrench would come in handy here. Pop it off and just pour the ATF right into it. It'll be drain down into the case.

Measure how much you drain out since you can't remove the fill plug and use that as your gauge to tell when it's full.

This is time consuming, so I'd try getting that fill plug out first and replacing it with an allen style.

well im going to drain all the fluid out. then pour in 4 quarts. the drain plug is the same as the fill plug with the square. This one might budge though

Don't overfill it. I'd still attempt to get the fill plug out and like I said, replace it with an allen pipe plug that way you don't have to mess with the square head any more.

It takes 4 quarts if it's bone dry, but you know you can never get it all out. Now that I think about it, you'd probably okay pouring all 4 in.
