Default fiber glass floor pans ??????

hey guys..... i need a little help.

Im in need of replacing my floorpans. I was pointed in the direction of buying strips of 40oz fiberglass mats and reinforcing it with metal strips. Is this a good idea being how this is a unibody...........and im not completly cutting the original pans out, just making a layer of fiberglass ontop.

Oh Well i guess fiberglass would work. Make sure you put more than one layer and maybe fibeglass the metal stripes into the fiberglass like a layer that holds the metal to the other fiberglass. Do you have experience with fiberglass Cuz that doesnt sound like an easy job for a beginner Well let me know how it goes if you decide to do it
