I've noticed that some of the 4th gens have a black roof and mirrors, some have a paint matched roof, and some have paint matched roof and mirrors, and a few with matching a-pillars as well. some of them were factory photos from gm, and im wondering if there were different options offered for the different colors.

 

In 1993 and 1994 all Z28's and any base coupes with T-tops got the black roof and mirrors. Starting in 1995 any Z28 or any base coupe with T-tops could get RPO D82 (monochromatic roof paint) which had the mirrors and roof painted the same color as the car for no extra charge.
