Default factory exhaust question
what is the inlet diameter on the stock 98 3.8 muffler? im finidng info for 2.5" and 2.25". i need to know which it is so i can order the correct muffler, or order an adapter if i need it

z-28 had 2.5 inlet/outlets.not sure about 3.8.recently saw one at salvage yard behind a 3.8 camaro that i thought measured 2.25 or 2.375 but had the z-28 tail pipes

thanks, but i dont see any info on the factory exhaust size at the muffler

2.25" on the V6.
