Default Extremely Confused

I found some Z06 wheels that i like they were 18x10.5 with a 58mm offset in teh rear. 17x9.5with 54mm offset in the front. Iwas interested in buying these but i decided to do a little research on whether or not they would fit. I talked to numerous tire and wheel specialists and got a couple no's and a couple maybe's. My concern is buying them and having them not fit.I looked around at some other Z06 styled rims and found some that were 18x10.5 as well. Except these had a 56mm offset and clearly stated that they would fit 93-02 camaros. NowI am no rocket scientist here butthe difference between not fitting and fitting is 2mm!!! There is no way that a 56 can fit and a 58 cannot. Is 2mm really that big of a differencewhen it comes to wheels? I really want to put the Z06's on preferably the 18x10.5s. From your experiences what size and offset looks the best as well as fitting correctly? I am very confused.

Alright I do have the Z06 wheels, 18x9.5's all around, can't remember the offset but I do know that to fit the wheels over the rear hubs i had to use a sanding wheel or sand paper and widen out the center of the wheel to clear the hub. Belletire actually did the rear ones for me but i had to do the fronts when i wanted to rotate them. I did have a problem with stripping out the lugnuts in the rear tho, the studs are shorter and could not get enough threads, I then went and bought special lugnuts called extended thread lugnuts to be able to grab enough threads to be safe. The wheels in all actuallity look very nice but were a pain in the A$$. I did do some research and the rear studs on the corvette are longer than the camaros. Hope some of this information helps.

they will clear the inside of your fender, but they mite stick out past fender, and im not sure if suspension collapses enough for it to hit fender, but if it does, buy some shocks that have longer cylender. as for front: i doubt 10.5, not even 9.5 will turn without hitting bumper, mine hit bumper with 7.5 inch wide wheels, and overall of 22.5 inch

I have 17X9.5's all the way around, can't remeber the offset, but they work perfectly fine, no rubbing or anything. If anything, like derrick said, you may have to do some sanding on the rear ones, but that should be it. The only issue with having different sizes on front and back is you can't rotate them so you don't get as much out of your tires, and rear tires for those 18's are expensive(I was thinking of doing the same thing as you, but decided not too because of the cost).

my car had a whicked looking stance, all 4 tires flush with fenders, and my rear tires were 10.5 or 11 wide.
