Default Exhaust Tips

Are the rectangle tips on my 93 Z28 slip fit or do they need to be cut off if I want to replace them? I see a clamp on both sides which is making them look like a slip fit.

Have you loosened the clamps and tried to remove them? Most I've seen you can loosen the bolts and slide them off, unless a previous owner had them welded on, which should be pretty easy to tell. If you do remove them, I would be interested in taking them off your hands for you....

Im thinking of putting a set of chrome ones on from a 2002 Trans Am . The ones from the T/A are straight and not offset though. Do you think it would still look ok?

You could put them on and find out. You could also send yours out to get triple show chrome plated. Yours set out for chrome would last a lot longer. Much better material used at the U.S.A. plants.

No, they will be noticalby offset. I tired that as well at one time. If you're set on doing it, I would suggest going to a muffler shop and just getting a whole new performance muffler put on, should only run around $150 for muffler and all.
