Default Exhaust question

Hi, I have a 1998 camaro ss ls1. I'm looking for an exhaust system. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the Borla full exhaust system and the Borla cat-back system? Which sounds better? What are gutted cats? How can I get the real deep throaty sound? Thanx.

i dont think ive heard of the borla full exhaust system, the cat back is the piping after the cat converter, if you want to get a better sound i would suggest getting headers and a y-pipe and try getting rid of the cat
