i have a fwd 3.8 coil pack including icm the does clearly no fit the camaro but ima hit the junkyards and try to find one

 

It has to come off the series II engine not the older series I 3800 or the even older 231 3.8L that had DLI. The part # from autozone and O'reilly's show 96-05 Series II including Supercharged. in 03 or 04 the Sereis III engine came out and it's module is NOT the same.

Ok so i ordered a new icm. It was only $10 so if its not the problem idc i got a new icm for $10. I also noticed something while removing the icm. There is a wire for ground attached to the driver side head. It was loose so i tightened it and still no dif. Any idea what the ground is for?

 

thats the ground for the ignition modual on yours i think, on mine its the ground for the tach filter (black box taped to harness) but i think that was done away with in 95.

 

ok so i checked the ground and installed new icm and no go im sol
