I may be picking up an LT4 out of a corvette, and I would be swapping it into a 97 Camaro SS. How interchangeable is this swap? Would I have to switch the accessories? what about the wiring harness and ecu? Any other tips are appreciated, for the most part it seems pretty straight forward...

 

As far as I know it should be pretty straight forward. The LT4 had a different knock module in the ECU, but to my knowledge they use the same wiring harness and ECU. You will probably have to swap over your accessories from your LT1, but you shouldn't have any issues with that. That said, I hope you're getting the LT4 for a good price, you can make some good power with an LT1 for the price of most LT4's...
