i want to take my egr out can anyone help me with wat i will need and wat i have to do?!?!?!? i heard it throws codes when u take it out, so will it make my car run differently or will it just make a lite stay on untill i take it to a speed shop and get it tuned out/ do u have to get it tuned out or does it not matter??? i want to order headers and a y pipe im gonna keep my slp exhaust and i want the egr out so can anyone help me out????

 

Not a good idea without tuning the PCM. Lack of EGR will cause the engine to ping under light load conditions, such as hghway driving, and willcuse the car to fail inspection. Also there is no power gain by removing the EGR.

 

well wats the difference in the headers on a 98 an a 02 ??? if i took the egr off i would be buying the 02 style headers right....
