Driving Problems
the question is do you plan on making mods to add power and how will you drive the car?
Now is the time to plan for it. I had my tranny rebuilt as stock, then did the whole bolt on, tune and 1.6 RR's and junior grenaded the tranny the way he drove. It now has a "street/strip" build so yes, it shifts harder (crisper) but it can handle more power than she makes. Upgrade the clutches, servo, sunshell, bands and add a shift kit. If you get someone to remove it, rebuild/upgrade it, reinstall it, replace the TC (even if it's rebuilt) and add the fluids for $2k then you got a great deal.

2400 is what they quoted me for the rebuild. I don't have the money for that at the moment, so I'm looking into just dropping in a used one myself. Either that or sell the car altogether. And I'm not looking into making any serious power, maybe just a few bolt ons within the year.
Thanks everyone.
