I wouldn't buy gaskets from ebay. Not when I can go to a local auto parts store and get them for $30 and on stock.

hey guys.. havent been on because i started working on the car... after long hours of of removing parts my buddy and i finally got to the head.. there was water in the pistons, im guessing it was in there for a while since the water made the pistons look brand new.. the gasket blew about a inch for water to flood in.. we also found that all the chords were disintegrating... guessing i might as well replace chords and anything that is rusted s while im at it. bought some gaskets that comes with extra gaskets for the manifold etc.. i want to get new clutches also and stocks are already $200 any tips would be appreciated.. the new sparks plug will run me 100$? ill post more pictures.. noob in progress of fixing car. Thanks in advance.

If only he had checked the oil stick at the beginning to see if it was milky oil, would have save a lot of headache. Anyhow subscribing to see the rebuild.

P.S: I'm sure smoke was flowing out the tail pipes?

Have the heads checked out by a shop. They may be warped. If not, consider yourself pretty lucky.

Cant tell by looking, can get an idea with a flat edged square. Although a shop would be the best bet, they don't charge much to tell you if its warped(or shouldn't, cost about $50 here to check a pair of heads and no work done).
