I finally finished the motor swap a few days ago and drove it home. At first I forgot it didn't have power steering any more. Basically the steering toughness is comparable to the power steering in my f350. harder than normal, but still pretty easy. Almost exactly feels like my friends honda civic with manual steering. and NOTHING comparable to turning your motor off and still trying to turn. Ill post pics in a few days, my cars getting brake work and suspension sstuff done right now

Thanks for the update. Working on a 93 drag car right now and would like to do the same with the rack. Would rather go this route if everything holds up ok. Any particular grease used?
