Looking to replace the seats in my 97 Z as they're worn and torn. Does anyone have any suggestions

 

Are you wanting to replace the entire seat or just the covers? Leather or cloth? I think there are covers on eBay and maybe hawks might have them.

 

Not sure the padding is worn. my budget is 5k with the engine but thankfully the engines is sound "which is the main reason I bought it". I remember when I had my C5 vette you could get the whole replacement seat padding and all. Not allot out there for camaros as far as aftermarket replacement parts so im finding. Tried Ecklers "Ricks" they sell racing seats which are reasonable. Wasnt planning on doing anythign to the seats until I started driving it its liek sitting on a milk crate...lol. Anyway want to go cheap in the interior and use a mjority of the $$$ in the enigne. Thanks for your reply

 

Might want to look out for low miles Trans ams that have been totaled. I think the Pontiac seats are better. I know Fbody on ebay gets them from time to time. They also get SS in. Nice low mile leather set (front and back) of seats can set you back 600 ish.

 

I'd just buy a new(er) set honestly, with as many fbuckets as there are out there now a days, its not worth it
