Just bought myself an '02 SS! Hurray!
But anyways, the dash lights don't come on, neither does the high beam indicator on the dash. The other dash items all seem to be fine. The needles glow, brake light comes on, etc. I believe this is an aftermarket dash...at least cover because it's white and every stock SS I've seen has a black background. They also put some aftermarket gauges in, 3 gauges...water temp, oil pressure, and volts....installed between the door and windshield. These work fine and light up as they are supposed to. If you mess with the dimmer though, they do not dimm...it's either on or off on those. The RPM and speedometer needles don't move or are really jerky when it's really cold out and the car hasn't warmed up. Once the car is warm they are fine.

Any ideas on where to start on this or should I just take it to a mechanic or a Chevy Dealer?

The other item is 4 of the 6 speakers do not work. Have no idea if they are blown or if this coincides with the dash in some way. Only the 2 speakers in the dash work.

Beatiful car. Runs very smooth and strong. Body and interior are immaculate as well. Just need to get these small probs fixed and I'll be in great shape.
