Default Corvette z06 tire options

So I'm buying some Corvette rims z06 c5 style and they are 275/40/18 all around. The tires are bald atm and I'm going to replace them. The thing is that I got a v6 so performance isn't really of importance. So I'm hoping that by not getting wide performance tires I could get some cheaper all season tires. I would like to know what kind of tire you guys are running on 18s and how they ride. Any feedback at all really.

I think 285/40/18 is the factory width of the tires from a z06 from the factory. I wouldn't go any smaller than 275 because it could end up stretching the sidewall. And tires for vette wheels ran me about $600, because of their size. But I run hankook v12 evos, which are directional. My wheels being staggered+directional tires=no rotating wheels at all. I would look into nitto invos though

rear tires are 295 on the z06, front ones are either 275 or 285

I got 275 in back with Nitto NT555 tires. They cost a little more but they are a high quality tire. No complaints from me.

I only have a v6 so i dont need high traction tires. I was wondering if having 245/45/18 all around is a good idea.

245s are too small for 'Vette wheels. Whats the width of the wheels? I'm running 275s on 9.5 inch wheels.

9.5 but are you running 275 all around or just the rear? Id imagine it scrapes the tires on bumps.

I'm running 275 on all four and they're perfect. The SS came with 275s.
